The DEL MEDICAL Straight Arm is an economical and space-efficient x-ray system capable of performing a full range of radiographic procedures. Its design allows imaging of patients sitting or standing, and with the optional MT500 mobile table, recumbent exams are also possible.
Accurate and Safe
Counter-Weighted, Single-Plane Design
A counter-weighted mechanism ensures smooth, precise adjustments with just one hand. Operating on a single plane, the Straight Arm keeps the x-ray tube and image receptor perfectly aligned in all positions.
Electromagnetic brakes engage on every movement except for the tilting receptor tray at 0°, enhancing safety during operation.
Flexible Movements
Expanded Vertical Lift & Swivel Range
With vertical travel from 16.5 to 64.2 in (42 to 163 cm), no wall stand is needed. Capture head-to-knee images of standing patients without repositioning. The arm swivels smoothly from 135° to −35°, and the receptor tray tilts ±45°. Motorized SID adjustments range from 39.4 to 78.7 in (100–200 cm) for customized setups.

Recumbent Positioning
While the Straight Arm can handle many exams alone, pairing it with the MT500 Mobile Table provides recumbent exam capability. The lightweight table is easy to maneuver—perfect for rapid patient positioning in a busy clinic.
