Cardio Performance
Quantity
The Cardio Performance Package completes the core imaging and gating technologies required for routine, robust cardiac functional assessment. The Cardiac Performance Package includes extensive VCG triggering capabilities, multi-slice multi-phase imaging and quantitative flow analysis. Predefined ExamCards make it easy to obtain all standard cardiac views with whole- heart coverage, even for cine imaging. True double-oblique imaging capabilities expand imaging and viewing choices. The Package also includes specialized pediatric protocols.

Features:
⚫ Multi-Slice: adds multi-slice capability to multi-phase (cine) acquisitions
· Arrhythmia Pro: retrospective gating with real-time prospective updating provides robust arrhythmia rejection. Rejects and reacquires atopic heart beats in real time, enabling full R-to-R coverage
• InFill: used in conjunction with full R-to-R imaging, InFill enhances the cine viewing of cardiac studies by reconstructing additional intermediate frames
• PlanAlign: corrects for the appearance of unusual double oblique cardiac images by automatically realigning the imaging plane and displaying images in consistent formats
VectorCardiogram (VCG)
VCG improves the accuracy and reliability of cardiac triggering and gating through automatic adjustment to the actual electrical axis of the patient’s heart and to the specific multi-dimensional QRS waveform. VectorCardiogram includes a four-lead cable set and Philips’ patented vector processing algorithm. It allows standard patient-independent lead placement, eliminating the need for multiple trial-and-error iterations when finding the optimum ECG waveform for triggering. VectorCardiogram results in reduced patient setup time and reliable, real-time triggering – even for patients with pathologic ECG patterns. High R-peak detection rate results in shorter scan times.

Features:
Plug-in unit, four-lead ECG cable, software key for signal-processing and display software integrated within the systems interface.
Full flexibility in user-specified trigger delays and number of heart phases
Real-time visual feedback of ECG signal, including heart rate display, time of trigger and image excitation
• ECG signal display on the Operator’s Console Display, the Physiology Display on the magnet (optional) and the examination room Interactive Display (optional)
SENSE Performance
SENSE, Philips’ unique parallel imaging technology, makes use of phased array information to provide acquisition speed increases far greater than those possible with increased gradient strength performance alone. SENSE can be combined with existing scan sequences. It gives imaging benefits in virtually all applications and in conjunction with all techniques. SENSE is applicable in all anatomical areas, and is especially valuable in MR angiography (abdominal, thoracic, carotid, vertebral and intracerebral), neuro imaging (high-resolution neuro imaging, diffusion imaging and brain perfusion) and cardiac imaging (breath hold, respiratory triggered and free breathing cardiac imaging). The SENSE Performance Package increases scan speed by a factor of 4 in 2D imaging and 8 in 3D imaging. It allows full utilization of new, high-channel SENSE coils.
